Oh....Canada...

In honour of the World Junior Hockey game on Wednesday I attempted a Canadian Classic for dinner - Tortierre - a hearty meaty dish that I thought would help the boys bring home the gold, but alas, no luck.

We had a great trip back in TO for the holidays with many wonderful, despite rushed, visits with friends and family. We have never eaten so much food!!

A few thoughts about TO:
1. Rob Ford? Seriously?!!!! I may never get over that one!
2. I forgot about the HST - that sucks...
3. TO has the best Asian food - wonderful to visit some old haunts like Asian Legend and Pho Eighty-Eight.
4. TO has Gerrard St - all Indian food in DC is high end and eaten with a knife and fork - seriously?
5. I still miss Tim Horton's (nothing like Dunkin Donuts), Joe Fresh Clothes, and Streetcars
6. I miss you all, but DC is slowly becoming home.
